Hurricane Hilary: This is what we know about the local effects 

Redwood News reporter spoke to Ryan Aylward, the warning coordination meteorologist and he explained that the people of the North Coast are lucky.

“The probability of that is still, you know, 20% or 30% that we see something into the Humboldt County area,” Alyward said.

People in Humboldt County may notice moisture systems, thunderstorms, or showers over the interior of the region. Aylward says he is crossing his fingers for “some rain on the fires.”
