“Daman and Kim’s Christmas Trees” is Back for the Holiday Season

Daman and Kim’s Christmas Trees have been serving the Humboldt community with fresh cut trees for almost 30 years now.

“This is a tradition that my wife and I started back in ‘97 and we’re locals, born and raised,” Daman Mullins, the owner said. “Every year we look forward to setting up our community, bringing in the best trees we can […] I had an automotive shop that was a little bit slower in the wintertime and so when that slowed down, I just started looking for something else to compensate for that so we just decided to bring in the Christmas trees and here we are.”

To really get into the holiday spirit, the business will be opening up earlier than last year.

“Last year there was a big turnout, people I feel like they’re wanting to start a little bit earlier this year so normally we open the day after Thanksgiving,” Mullins said. “We’re opening three days prior just to give those people that want to set up on Thanksgiving an opportunity to come and get a tree.”

Daman and Kim’s Christmas Trees is in between 3rd and V streets in Eureka. 

They’ll have their wide variety of trees and local treats to enjoy while you look. 

“Fry Burger will be here this year– that’s my son and he started that business and it’s really taken off […] he’s going to be setting up here for the whole season,” Mullins said. “My wife and I love this community and we have so many repeat customers and it’s just a fun tradition for us […] come see us and get some fresh hot cider and cookies too, while you look.”
