Donation to Eureka Rescue Mission will mean a good night’s sleep for those in need

EUREKA – Eureka Rescue Mission received a big donation Tuesday.
Executive Director Bryan Hall Senior posted the Mission’s need for sleeping mats on Facebook and Saint Joseph Health Humboldt answered the call.
They donated twenty brand new mats, ten each for the women and men’s shelters.
Hall, Sr. said the mission has averaged more than one hundred residents recently. The mats will be put to use immediately and will also offer a softer place to rest when the dorm is at capacity.
Hall said life is already hard enough and a good night’s sleep can make all the difference.
