EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- A transient was injured after being picked up and emptied into a Recology collection truck while sleeping in a dumpster.
The man was dumped into the truck at around 8:40 Monday morning.
Humboldt Bay Fire responded to the Bayshore Mall parking lot and used ladders to rescue the man.
He was transported to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries.
