Eureka City Council Member accepts “Homeless Connect Challenge”

EURKEA, CA. (KIEM) –  Eureka City Council Member Kim Bergel has recently taken on the nationally known 48-hour Homeless Connect Challenge. Over the weekend Council Member Bergel intentionally left the comforts of her home, to see what it’s like to live on the streets of Eureka. Our Dru Miller has the story.

Council Member Bergel hopes the community will continue to support the local homeless resource programs. She says there is still more we can do to support those in need.
