Law Enforcement and EMS Train for Multi-Casual Incident

EUREKA (KIEM) – Firefighters, EMS, and Sheriff’s Deputies trained to prepare themselves for a massive criminal incident.

It’s to be prepared for any multi-causal situation such as an active shooter.

It’s an opportunity for law enforcement and EMS to learn and work together in case of an emergency.

There are about sixty different agencies in Humboldt County. The Sheriff’s Office says, that by training with various response teams it’ll help to quickly mitigate a threat.

These training sessions are a county wide effort by the sheriff’s office.
