EPD’S POP Unit Executes Two Search Arrests Warrants

EUREKA (KIEM) – Two men are behind bars after Eureka Police searched a Eureka home.  It happened on Monday morning around 11.

EPD’S Problem Oriented Policing executed a search warrant at a residence on Union Street, this after complaints of illegal activity.

During the search, authorities discovered 3 firearms, other illegal weapons, and drug paraphernalia.

Four people were detained, but two people were arrested.

39 year old William Reynolds was arrested for felony possession of firearms and ammunition and 34 year old William Abarr was booked on an existing warrant.

That same day, the POP Unit also executed another search warrant on California Street.

During the search, EPD says they located 33 grams of heroin, packaging materials, and digital scales.

37 year old Erynn Menniweathers was arrested on possession of controlled substance for sales.

Any ongoing drug and nuisance activity can be reported to the POP unit.
