Eureka City Council Back to Work Following Holiday Weekend

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — With the Labor Day weekend coming to an end, the Eureka City Council is back to work Tuesday night at their monthly meeting. The council will be hearing a report from city manager Greg Sparks and EPD on the 2018 crime statistics.

Also on the agenda, they will be discussing a memorandum of understanding between the city and the ink people for the oversight of the live art wall in the cultural arts district. The council will also proclaim September as national recovery month.

The meeting starts Tuesday at 6 pm in the council chambers at city hall.
