Food for People Takes Precautionary Steps to Keep Area Clean

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- Despite the closure at its main Eureka location, Food for People remains open amid the Covid-19 virus.

The food pantry is taking precautionary steps to limit the spread of diseases. Employees are pre-packaging food bags expanding the use of proxy pick-ups and practicing social distancing while distributing goods.

The food bank is currently operating out of two temporary locations including the Old Eureka Chamber of Commerce Building and is making sure to still provide food during this time.
