Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM)– An artist in Blue Lake, California is showing us a different perspective on sheltering in place through a portrait project. Portraits of Blue Lake, California can be found at shelteringinplaces.com.

Janessa Johnsrude is a teacher at Pelican Bay State Prison and Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater. While walking around one in evening in Blue Lake she decided she wanted to document what she was seeing from the outside looking into people sheltering in place.
