EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – For those who didn’t get a chance to see it first hand, here is a look back at the sights and sounds from this weekend’s protests.

Hundreds of protestors marched in solidarity for George Floyd as they asked that justice be served to the families of black lives that were taken by law enforcement.

After the first day of protesting ended with a few reports of injuries and property damage, Chief Watson was pleased with the organization of day two that allowed the Eureka Police Department and Sheriff’s Deputies to join the march.
