9 new Covid-19 cases reported Wednesday, largest single-day increase since April 2nd

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Wednesday marks the largest single-day increase in Covid-19 cases since April 2^nd as the Public Health Department confirms 9 new cases.

The total case count for Humboldt County has now risen to 122.

Of the cases, health officials say that 69 people had contact to a known case, 26 were travel related, and 23 were a result of community transmission. At this time, 4 cases are under investigation.
