HSU Men’s Basketball receives NABC awards

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University Men’s Basketball receives player awards and a team award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Last season’s Victor Mijas, Arash Poorsina, Gabrys Sadaunykas and Jackson Strong have been named to the NABC Honors Court.

They are four of 1,350 men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes that have been recognized for their excellence in academics, receiving at least a cumulative 3.2 GPA.

As a team, the Lumberjacks received the NABC Team Excellence Award for achieving a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better for the 2019-2020 season.
