6 new Covid-19 cases, 1 more hospitalization reported Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department confirms 6 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 479.

One more hospitalization was reported as well. The number of recoveries remains unchanged. Health officials are currently monitoring 63 active cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, 301 cases were from contact with a known case, 99 were travel related, and 63 a result of community transmission. There are 16 cases under investigation.
