Areas south of Casterlin Road, including all properties on Casterlin, to the Mendocino-Trinity county line and east of Dyerville Loop Road and Bell Springs Road to the county line are now under an evacuation warning. Residents may begin to return home, but should remain ready to evacuation again, if needed.

As far as the fire itself, the west zone is just over 78,700 acres and is now 5% contained.
