Red flag warning for the August Complex Fire

SHASTA-TRINITY NF, SIX RIVERS NF, AND MENDOCINO NF, Ca. (KIEM) – A red flag fire weather warning has been issued for the August Complex Fire due to high temperatures reaching up in to the 90’s.

The Suppression Repair Group and the Forest Resource Advisors are working along the Ruth Lake corridor to repair containment lines in the municipal watershed.

Crews continue to mop-up and patrol around structures near Ruth Lake.

Highway 36 remains closed from South Fork Summit Mountain to Highway 3.
