PG&E says another PSPS is anticipated for Sunday night

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — PG&E says it’s trying to restore power to all customers by the end of Friday since strong winds have subsided.

PG&E crews have already restored 74% of power to those affected by the public safety power shut off this past Wednesday. Parts of Humboldt County were on that list.

Now, PG&E is anticipating another public safety power shutoff, this time beginning Sunday night extending into Wednesday. Alderpoint, Blocksburg, Bridgeville, Carlotta, Dinsmore, Ettersburg, Fort Seward, Garberville, Harris, Honeydew, Kneeland, Miranda, Myers Flat, Petrolia, Phillipsville, Redcrest, Redway, Weott, and Whitehorn are within the scope of the PSPS.
