Red Salmon Complex Fire remains at 75% containment

KLAMATH, SIX RIVERS, AND SHASTA-TRINITY NATIONAL FORESTS, Ca. (KIEM) – The Red Salmon Complex Fire is now 75-percent contained after burning more than 143,000 acres.

Crews are continuing to monitor and strengthen lines along Plumber Creek.

Suppression repair work is underway and crews will begin to return hoses, water pumps, and portable water tanks back to the fire camp for cleaning and shipping.

More than seven hundred people are currently fighting the fire.
