Aviation resources monitor Slater and Devil Fires

The Slater Fire is now more than 157,000 acres with 85% containment.

The fire continues to show scattered and isolated interior heat.

Overnight, infrared detection flight shows an additional 263 acres of growth.

The north and south flanks remain in a patrol status with suppression repair expected to finish over the next several days.

The Devil Fire is more than 8,800 acres with 67% containment. It is being monitored by aviation resources and no measurable growth has been seen for several days.
