Election lawsuit reaches Supreme Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KIEM) – The State of Texas has filed a lawsuit against Pennslyvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin for allegedly performing their elections in an unconstitutional manner.

At least 20 states have filed in support of Texas.

And the District of Columbia along with 22 states and territories have filed amicus briefs to support the defending states.

Some state legislators and governors are filing support in opposition to the rest of their state.

And the ‘New State of California’ and ‘New State of Nevada’-state secessionist movements- have filed amicus briefs in support of Texas, contrary to the filings of California and Nevada.

At this time, the Supreme Court is still deciding whether or not to take the case.
