43 new Covid-19 case, 14 more recoveries reported in Humboldt County Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 43 new cases of covid-19 Friday. The total case count is now 2,263. Health officials are monitoring 565 active cases.

There are 11 people hospitalized with Covid-19 in the County, and three are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity remains unchanged. There were 14 more recoveries also reported bringing that number to 1,674.

In vaccination news, 21 medical professionals were recently sworn in as disaster health care volunteers to assist with vaccination efforts.
