School teachers now eligible for vaccine, public health will hold vaccination clinic Saturday

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM)-Del Norte County school teachers are now eligible to be vaccinated.

Public health will hold a vaccination clinic this Saturday, participants who would like to receive the vaccine must pre-register.

Non-school employees are asked to contact human resources at (707) 463-6141.

Public health asks all non-school employees, 65-years or older, to contact their healthcare provider.

Del Norte High School remains on a holding pattern until the county moves back into the red tier, once moved out of the red, the school is required to wait five-calendar days before students can return on campus.

“Now if you’ve already filled out the survey for school employees to be vaccinated that’s fine you’ve done what you need to,” he said. “If you have not filled out that survey again contact human resources.
