HSU reveals new athletics logo, website

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University unveils a new logo for the athletics department and a redesigned website to complement it.

The new design includes the ax emblem while incorporating the “Spirit H” as well. The logo was made in coordination with athletes, coaches, boosters, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Athletics Director Jane Teixeira discussed the final product.

“The new logo represents a bolder identity for HSU athletics,” Teixeira said. “It encompasses the pride of the Humboldt community and the excellence we focus on as a department and as an institution.”

The newly designed logo will be seen on floorboards, fields, athletic gear, equipment, and merchandise available to the community.
