Man arrested for shooting juvenile

FORTUNA, Ca. (KIEM) – A Fortuna man is arrested over the weekend after shooting a teenager in the leg.

42 year old, Erik Keith Wood has been charged with attempted murder and is now in the Humboldt County Jail.

At about 11 o’clock on Sunday night, police responded to a report of shots fired on the 1300 block of Ronald Avenue.  Officers were able to locate the victim and get him to the hospital.
