NCS Basketball

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) NCS basketball play is upon us. Eureka and Arcata have most recently been crowned tournament champions. In girls’ basketball, the defending champions make it back-to-back with another finals win, this time coming against the Arcata girls. They improved to 20 and 8 on the season and will now face Archie Williams this week to open NCS play. 

In boys’ basketball, Arcata is crowned champion after dominating McKinleyville and winning by 24. The final score was 68-44. 

Next up for the Tigers is Saint Joseph Notre Dame coming this Wednesday. The Loggers and Tigers are among quite a few local teams advancing to the playoffs. Full brackets are available on max preps.  

As for tickets, the same as fall sports, they will all be available through go fan.
