ARCATA, Calif.(KIEM)- The wait is finally over as Humboldt County has a long-awaited CRV redemption center.
Today was the first full day of operations for the Hambro recycling facility in Arcata.
The recycling center operates from 9 A.M to 5 P.M. Tuesday through Saturday.
They are hoping to hire additional staff as they expect a large volume of customers daily.
Hambro wants to remind customers to sort out material to help speed up the service.
“You know, we’re just learning the ins and outs here, keeping the line going. We want people not to wait in line too long. So we’re working that out to give people their recyclables and then get paid for them,” said Randy Scott, Hambro Vice President.
