North Coast Weather Forecast: Monday, April 24th

A bit of a cooler start to this week, we are looking to elevate our temperatures as we get through the next couple of days. Tonight, we are dropping our temperatures down to the 40s and some areas in higher elevations will drop to the 30s. Winds will be on the calm side, and clouds will continue to lower to the surface, giving us patchy fog especially in the bay areas. Tomorrow, we will reach the 60s and 70s for our Tuesday. We can expect partly cloudy skies and winds will be light, coming from the north around 5-10 mph. We could see some record breaking temperatures for highs this upcoming Wednesday and Thursday, with highs reaching the 70s and 80s around Humboldt and Del Norte counties. However, after we peak at Thursday for highs, temperatures will be on a steady decline, and we will drop the the 50s and possibly the 40s for highs by next week Monday and Tuesday. Rain showers could be more prominent as we head into the beginning of next week as well.
