North Coast Weather Forecast: Thursday, August 10th

For the rest of our Thursday evening, we are expected to have plenty of sunshine around the region. Clear skies will continue to stick around as we head into the late night hours. Clouds will increase during the overnight hours with some areas around the coast in lower elevations expecting foggy conditions. Lows will drop to the mid to upper 50s and winds will be on the calm side. Getting into our Friday, we will have more clouds to start the morning hours off for the coast and a little more sunshine further inland. It will feel a slight bit humid with higher dew points. Afternoon sunshine can be expected all around. Highs will be in the 60s through 90s. For this weekend, we will have upper 60s to mid 70s for highs along the coastal areas, and triple digit highs for inland cities. An Excessive Heat Watch will be in effect for portions of our viewing area starting Sunday until next week Thursday, with highs expected to reach up to 110 degrees in some areas. Potential record highs could be broken around the North Coast viewing area this weekend and into next week. Triple digit highs will continue for inland areas through most of next week as well with plenty of sunshine. Highs along the coast will range from the mid 60s to upper 70s. More clouds are expected along the coast next week.
